Accelerator is an exhibition space where art, science, and societal issues meet. Part of Stockholm University, its mission is to actively engage with society by presenting exhibitions of international and Swedish contemporary art. In addition, Accelerator organises a public programme of presentations and talks with artists, researchers, students, and the general public. The programme reflects an ambition to contribute to a transparent and empathetic society by creating opportunities for art to inspire discussions and interdisciplinary dialogue.

Bonniers Konsthall is a space for contemporary art, fostering dialogue with artists and the public. Through exhibitions, collaborations, and interdisciplinary exchanges, it explores art’s role in understanding our times. Founded by Jeanette Bonnier in 2006, it continues the legacy of the Maria Bonnier Dahlin Foundation, supporting emerging Swedish artists while engaging with global contemporary art.

Carl Eldh (1873–1954) was during the early 20th century one of Sweden’s most prominent sculptors. Today, his former studio is a museum and a place for new artistic research. Among nearly five hundred of the artist’s plaster casts and works, you can also take part in newly produced exhibitions and guided tours.

Fotografiska is one of the world’s largest meeting places for contemporary photography. Four unique large exhibitions and about 20 smaller exhibitions are presented annually. Book and souvenir shop, restaurant and a photo gallery. In the top floor café, you will find one of Stockholm’s very best viewpoints.

Färgfabriken is an exhibition space for contemporary art and architecture. Since 1995 Färgfabriken produces and showcases exhibitions in a former factory building in the old industrial area of Lövholmen. By working experimentally and across borders, bringing together different experiences and skills, Färgfabriken creates conditions for new ideas, knowledge, and artistic creations. Färgfabriken also engages in satellite and collaboration projects with architects, artists, institutions, organizations, and researchers around the world. This inspires and contributes to different public activities on site, like workshops, seminars and other cultural activities. Färgfabriken is conducted by Färgfabriken foundation, which is politically and religiously independent.

Liljevalch’s exhibition program is aimed at a broad and new audience as well as those with a particular interest in certain artists or art and design directions. Each new art year begins with the well-known juried Spring Salon. Liljevalchs belongs to the City of Stockholm and was inaugurated in 1916 as the first independent and public art gallery for contemporary art in Sweden.

Moderna Museet is one of Europe’s leading museums for modern and contemporary art. We collect, preserve, share and exhibit modern art from the early 20th century and photography from 1840 and onwards. The museum opened in 1958, when was moved from the Nationalmuseum into a former navy drill hall on Skeppsholmen in Stockholm. The current building was completed in 1998, adjoining the old museum premises, and is designed by the Spanish architect Rafael Moneo

Nationalmuseum is Sweden’s museum of art and design. It was founded in 1792, which makes us one of Europe’s oldest museums of fine art. The collections comprise paintings, sculptures, drawings and prints from 1500-1900 as well as applied arts, design and portraits from the early Middle Ages to the present day.

Sven-Harry’s Konstmuseum, a wonderfully golden building designed by Gert Wingårdh and Anna Höglund, unites a variety of activities: in addition to the art gallery and Sven-Harry’s art collection, it also houses a restaurant, apartments and commercial premises. Sven-Harry’s Konstmuseum is owned and run by a foundation with the mission to promote activities in the field of art history, architecture and construction.
