About the Fair
Are the artworks for sale?
Yes, all works of art at the fair are for sale. If you would like to purchase an artwork speak to the relevant gallery who will be happy to help. That’s their job!
Do you have a talks programme?
Market Talks is an inspiring programme of engaging talks held in the talks room at Liljevalchs+ during Saturday and Sunday. The talks are included in your ticket, but we encourage you to sign up for popular talks.
Can I join a guided tour?
A guided tour is a great way to get introduced to the galleries and learn more about the exhibited artists.
What is Market Extended?
Market Extended is an outdoor presentation of contemporary sculpture sited in the courtyard of Blå Porten. The Market Extended presentation is included with your fair ticket.

Tickets and Entrance
You can get your tickets here!
It is also possible to buy tickets at the door on the day of entrance. Tickets sold at the door are subject to availability so you may need to wait for entry during busy periods.

Admission Friday (Opening Night)
Adult: 250 SEK
Student/Senior: 250 SEK
Admission weekend
Adult: 160 SEK
Student/Senior: 130 SEK (Concession proof of eligibility required)
The fair is free for visitors aged 18 and under.
Tickets are day specific, but once inside the fair you are welcome to stay and enjoy the artworks for an unlimited period until closing time.

How can I get a ticket to the VIP Preview?
The VIP Preview is by invitation only.

Your Visit
I’m starving! What are my options for eating and drinking?
There are plenty of choices for hungry and thirsty visitors. Classic restaurant Blå Porten is available with both indoor and outdoor seating, as well as the Blå+ vegetarian cafe in Liljevalchs+. The Deutz champagne bar is open for the duration of the fair where you can also purchase beverages.
Can I leave my coat and bag anywhere?
Coat checks are free of charge. Bags, coats, and umbrellas can be deposited in lockers at Liljevalchs+ and downstairs at the main building. Large bags are not permitted in the exhibition halls. Market Art Fair is not liable for stolen items and/or any items deposited in the coat check areas.
Prams and pushchairs are allowed in the building, but we encourage you to leave them by the entrance if possible as space is limited.
Can I bring my pet to the fair?
Dogs, cats and other pets are not allowed into Liljevalchs, except for certified service animals for visitors with disabilities.
Is the fair fully accessible?
Yes, Market Art Fair is fully accessible for people with reduced mobility as follows:
- Liljevalchs’ main entrance has a ramp adapted to wheelchairs.
- Taxis and vehicles with a valid disability permit are able stop in drop off and pick up in front of the main entrance. The entrance to Liljevalchs+ and an accessibility parking are located at Falkenbergsgatan 3 opposite Gröna Lund’s parking lot.
- Toilets for visitors with reduced mobility – one on the entrance floor and one on the ground floor.
- A hearing aid system is installed in the art gallery. Roger MyLink hearing aid system, a universal FM receiver compatible with any hearing aid or telesole implant. The hearing loop is available at reception. The hearing aid should be set to the “T” position.
- There are a limited number of wheelchairs available at the fair. If you need a wheelchair, please speak to a member of staff at the ticket enquiries desk or to a member of security, who will be able to assist you.
If I buy something, can you help me to get it home?
Market Art Fair is happy to collaborate with art transport partner TransArt. For quotes and guidance on transport options we encourage you to speak with a representative at the TransArt desk at the fair.
Can I arrange insurance for my artwork at the fair?
Yes. You can arrange art insurance at the fair with our art insurance partner Brookfield.
