This year's presentation
For the past 13 years Anne Griffiths has focused exclusively on her own painting practice, one that is built upon the interplay of colour and form—delivering interpretive landscape-spaces with a dexterous colour palette and mark making.
Sabine Finkenauer: Form is the true theme of my work—the ambiguity between representation and definition being a sign or symbol that travels in an intimate and subjective way from the visible to the invisible, from what we see to that which exists.
Heather Chontos: As a painter, Chontos works impulsively, using gesture to create instinctive compositions with bold colours, dynamic marks, and organic forms. Her paintings combine shapes and lines in asymmetrical harmony, inviting viewers to explore the composition and find their own narrative connections.
