Wilson Saplana Gallery, DK
It is Wilson Saplana’s mission to exhibit visionary artists and present high-quality experimental exhibitions. Working from the method of artistic development the gallery has shown a strong ability to spot younger artistic talents and support their professional artistic careers.
The gallery is international both in its way of working and thinking and values a diverse program. The represented artists work with multiple media, are from different nationalities and are not tied to one generation. The gallery was founded in January 2022 by gallerist Christina Wilson, art advisor and former owner of Gallery Christina Wilson (2000-2012), and curator Nanna Saplana.

This year's presentation
Wilson Saplana Gallery presents a duo presentation with Hannah Heilmann (b. 1978) and Jytte Rex (b. 1942), curated around the theme of time. The presentation unfolds as a dialogue across generations: Heilmann’s work is rooted in the present, transforming the structures of daily life – its routines, labour and gestures of care – into improvised, feminist “kitchen-table art”.
Rex’s poetic and politically engaged practice moves fluidly between past and future, weaving together the personal and the collective.Together, their works reveal time as cyclical and fragmented concept, deeply connected to resilience and imagination. Despite differences in age and method, both artists share a belief that the personal is political. Their aesthetic kinship celebrates Market Art Fair’s 20 years of artistic diversity while opening new perspectives across generations and artistic practices.
