Martin Asbæk Gallery, DK

Martin Asbæk Gallery was founded in 2005 by Martin Asbæk and is an international contemporary art gallery based in central Copenhagen.

The gallery works with both established and upcoming artists within a variety of media and is one oft he leading galleries within photo-based art in Denmark. Artists represented by the gallery exhibit around the world, in biennials, museums and galleries, and are part of significant public and private collections.

The three-floor gallery present around 10 solo exhibitions annually as well as curated group shows. Martin Asbæk Gallery regularly participates in art fairs both in and outside Denmark, such as ParisPhoto, Chart Art Fair, EXPO Chicago, Market Art Fair, Armory Show, ARCO Madrid, Art Brussels, among others.

This year's presentation

For Market Art Fair 2025, Martin Asbæk Gallery will present Peter Bonde (DK), Eva Koch (DK), Maria Rubinke (DK) and MattSaunders (US). The presentation spans painting, video, sculpture and photography, while also exploring four ways of image-making that ranges from pure explosive abstraction to meticulous figuration, while also incorporating other artistic disciplines as well as other media such as literature or film.
