The gallery features well-established and emerging artists and is committed to long-term representation. Most of the represented artists are Swedish or have a Swedish connection. The gallery program has expanded over the years and offers 10–12 curated exhibitions each year.
The gallery is committed to promote artists with a process-oriented practice, be it in painting, sculpture, installation, video or photography. Arranging artist talks, supporting and facilitating artists’ publications and extra-curricular events are important parts of the gallery’s commitment. This year's presentation
Since its inception in 2012, the gallery has successfully launched emerging artist. At the same time, a number of well-established names have taken part from the start, with the purpose of presenting a dynamic and cutting edge program. For the 20th celebratory edition of Market Art Fair, we propose a group presentation by three artists; a concept which reflects the gallery’s vision. Furthermore, it features three different approaches to photography.
In Clay Ketter’s new body of works, photography merges with painting. These wall objects will be put in juxtaposition to new works by two emerging artists: Clara Ketter and Aurea Tanttu. Clara Ketter’s objects combine photography and sculptural elements where story-telling is reflected in the layering of materials. Tanttu’s snapshot-like paintings focus on vague memories of places and people, using heavy colours on both textured and glossy surfaces. Different textures and materials will add to the overall presentation, creating a vibrant whole.
