Jacob Bjorn Gallery exhibits international contemporary art focusing on mid-career and established artists primarily working in the field of formalism and minimalism within painting and sculpture.
Representing and exhibiting a group of benchmarking contemporary artists the aim of the gallery is to present the art of today to an international audience; private and institutional.
Apart from mounting in the range of 10 exhibitions a year the gallery participates in international art fairs and serves as an advisory for contemporary art in general for private and commercial collectors as well as museum institutions.

This year's presentation
For this year’s Market Art Fair Jacob Bjorn Gallery are proud to present a duo presentation of two renowned Danish artists.
The purpose of the presentation is to juxtapose the two generations of artists so that a dialogue can unfold. Both as they are uncompromisingly aware of the authority of their work, it will be interesting to see the generation gap the two artists have and to examine how Jørgensen’s hard materials will correspond to the soft oils in Sejr’s paintings. It will be a presentation where the tactile and concrete material will be in focus.
