Galleri Tom Christoffersen, DK
Founded in 2002, Galleri Tom Christoffersen is a contemporary art gallery located in the heart of Copenhagen.
The gallery collaborates with curators, collectors, and fellow galleries, representing both emerging and established Danish and international artists. The diverse and experimental programme spans a wide range of media and artistic approaches. The artists’ practices include playful dialogues with art history and everyday life, bold interventions in political, psychological, and social contexts, as well as systematic investigations into sculpture and painting – both as media and, importantly, as processes.

This year's presentation
For Market Art Fair 2026, Galleri Tom Christoffersen will show a presentation with Ahmad Siyar Qasimi and Aia Sofia Coverley Turan. Both explore the interplay of material, memory, and narrative, moving between the familiar and the enigmatic. Qasimi’s paintings and drawings are built up layer by layer, one color at a time, creating vibrating surfaces where beauty and unease coexist. His motifs – rooted in art history and media imagery – hint at hidden dramas without ever fully revealing them.
Turan works across sculpture, relief, textile, and drawing, transforming everyday elements and cultural fragments into subtle forms that materialize memory and identity. Her works reference classical sculpture while reimagining figuration and space through material experimentation.
Together the artists open a dialogue between surface and form, process and memory – an duo exhibition of strong material presence and conceptual depth.
