Magnus Andersen, DK

Magnus Andersen, born in Elsinore 1987, lives and works in Copenhagen. Known for his particular style in painting, drawing from everything from advertising aesthetics to Flemish still lives and employing an overly vivid and somewhat uncanny touch, ISSUES is pleased to present his work to a wider Swedish audience.

At the fair, in the form of a three-part ceramic sculpture, we will see a new iteration of ducklings pursued by a pike, first presented in ‘Pond Dramas’ at Rønnebæksholm Kunsthal in Næstved, Denmark. Meanwhile, a solo show with Magnus Andersen is on view at ISSUES on Vattugatan.
