Ebba Johansson, SE
Ebba Johansson’s works, which balance stillness with tension, typically explore memory, heritage, and the relationship between people and the objects that surround them.
Through the medium of oil painting, Johansson transforms everyday items – fabrics, plants, ornaments, and pieces of clothing – into symbols of personal and collective history.
Ebba Johansson (b. 1994) lives and works in Nybro, Sweden. Previous solo exhibitions include BergGallery (2024) and VIDA Museum & Konsthall, Öland (2022, 2020).
