Astrid Nondal, NO
Astrid Nondal (b. 1958) studied at the Academy of Fine Art in Oslo. Working in egg-oil tempera, a medium whose matte surface recalls the fresco’s timeless depth, she creates images that evoke the tactile presence of earth, air, and light.
Her work has been shown at the National Museum, Lillehammer Art Museum, the Stenersen Museum, and the Beijing International Art Biennale. She is represented in major collections including the National Museum, Lillehammer Art Museum, and the Norwegian Parliament.
