This year's presentation
Saskia Neuman Gallery’s presentation for Market Art Fair 2026 combines the austere and post minimal practice of Swedish artist Kasper Nordenström with the challenging and fantastical work by the Swedish sculptor and ceramicist Matti Hoffner.
Nordenström’s almost stripped down, naked paintings, where paint and lin seed oil serve as tools on the mechanics of the canvas, aim to embrace and lean into the conventions of his artistic practice. His undressed and unprotected approach to art making allows Hoffner’s ceramic, ready-made and found object sculptures to create poetry and nonsensical symmetry through iron appendages, clay, brick and mortar.
