Maria Jacobson, Oscar Eriksson Furunes, and Elisabeth Östin, all graduates of Malmö Art Academy, converge around a shared exploration of the unknown—those aspects of existence that resist verbal articulation but can be translated into distinct visual languages.

Östin’s paintings present fragmented images and characters inviting contemplation of hidden narratives. Furunes’ photographs, cast in polyester, resonate with this theme, offering a tactile representation of layered perceptions. In contrast, Jacobson’s large, heavy sculptures create a tension between two-dimensional and three-dimensional forms, symbolizing a distinct language of their own.
