About the gallery
ISSUES Gallery is located in Stockholm.
ISSUES was set up as an experimental exhibition platform in 2014. The first show included Anna Uddenberg, Celia Hempton and Alec Cronacker and was housed in a large apartment in central Stockholm. Following this, Lizzie Fitch & Ryan Trecartin’s movie ‘CENTER JENNY’ was screened on 196 TVs on display at the home electronics department store Media Markt. Later, Marie Karlberg was shown at Grand Hôtel and after some years, the gallery settled down and became a white cube on a fixed address in downtown Stockholm. The gallery focuses on establishing artists on a local and national scene with the ambition to bring these artists to an international audience.

About the presentation
At Market Art Fair 2023, Henning Hamilton and Linda Pedersen present a comprehensive installation reassembling a bourgeois dining room, including an armoire, table, chairs and pictures on the walls.
The entire set of furniture will feature detailed wooden carvings of little figures in what looks like soft upholstery. The monumental armoire tells the story of someone sleeping in for such an extended period, flesh has turned to bone. This sleepy tale will be an immersive experience for visitors to the booth.
As a duo, Henning and Linda create sculptures and installations drawing on the fantastical. In their individual practices, Henning uses found objects in romantic assemblages and Linda tells stories through wood craft. Both artists' individual styles are equally present and combined, they form a unique and brave expression.
As an artist-duo, Henning and Linda have exhibited at Arsenalsgatan 3, Stockholm; Norbergfestival, Västmanland, and ISSUES, Stockholm.
