Galleri Arnstedt presents contemporary art by established and emerging Nordic artists.
The gallery was founded in 1998 and is located in a remodelled mill from the 18th century in Östra Karup, Skåne. The exhibitions are presented in the Mill, the New Gallery, the Stable, the House and the Sculpture Park.
Samaneh Reyhani was born in Tehran, Iran. She holds a BA from the School of the Arts in Tehran and an MA from the Malmö School of Arts. She lives and works in Malmö. Recently, Reyhani has shown her work with Gallery St. Gertrud in Malmö, Skomakeriet in Stockholm, Uppsala Art Museum, Ystad konsthall and Galleri Arnstedt.
Samaneh Reyhani works primarily with sculptural installations. Her corporeal works seem at first glance shamelessly seductive, but upon closer inspection the sculptures reveal their true nature and appear as wounded and scarred figures. Speaking through the body, her sculptures tell darkened stories of love, myth and trauma.

Emm Berring observes nature as an important source of inspiration in his work. Though, it is the bodily memory of the nature that is painted rather than the visual, which results in a sensual painting - the memory of the scent and the mill and the moss that sink under the feet; the memory of what it is like to move through a landscape. The paintings arise in dialogue with each other. In addition to a wide variety of different shades of green, Emm often includes shades of pink.
Emm Berring was born in 1983 in Frösunda, Stockholm. Berring received an MFA from Malmö University of Art in 2013 and lives and works in Malmö.
