ANNE MOSSERI-MARLIO GALERIE

Anne Mosseri-Marlio Galerie opened with a solo show by Larry Bell in 2008 and followed this with exhibitions of American and later also European and Japanese artists. The gallery focuses on conceptual, post-minimal, geometric abstraction and post-war Japanese art.

Larry Bell

Larry Bell (1939, USA) is known as a member of the Light and Space movement and his work is devoted to light and its perceptible volume. Through collages of coated materials – strips of mylar and film laminate arranged in tapestries of woven light differentials – his paintings present his masterful use of vacuum technology. Bell plays with the entire color palette, allowing some to radiate bold, iridescent and enigmatic colors, while others transmit muted and delicate hues.

Lars Christensen

Lars Christensen (1972, Denmark) explores space, gravitation and form in his sculptural paintings and works on paper. His works are defined by the plasticity, function and origin of acrylic paint and create hypnotic works in white and monochrome colours.
