Søren Sejr is a Danish painter working in the field of concrete abstraction. Sejr has gained a reputation as one of the primary concrete painters within Scandinavian abstract painting, and he has now had several international group and solo shows behind him. Since ARoS (AarhusMuseum of Art) acquired his work in 2017, Sejr has been used as an institutional example of the new generation of modern concrete art, and his uncompromising approach to the canvas is proof of a younger artist who is disciplined beyond expectation.
