Rasmus Søndergaard Johannsen studied at Städelschule in Frankfurt am Main and Cooper Union School of Art in New York City. He exhibited at Kunstverein Göttingen, Kunsthalle Darmstadt and KWInstitute of Contemporary Art, Berlin and is initiator and curator of the exhibition space Kunsthal Thythat opened in 2023.
