Inka Bell, FI

Inka Bell (b. 1981) is a Finnish visual artist based in Helsinki, known for her work in printmaking, sculptural paper art, and public installations.

Bell’s art explores the geometric ambiguity between two- and three-dimensional spaces, using materials, colors, light, and texture to create abstract minimalist pieces that invite close viewer engagement.

Her practice is characterized by meticulous attention to detail and a focus on expanding the field of printmaking.Bell holds an MFA from the Academy of Fine Arts at the University of the Arts Helsinki (2021) and has exhibited widely both in Finland and internationally. Recent solo exhibitions include Shift atForum Box (2023) and Rise Over Run at Bricks Gallery (2022). In 2024, Inka Bell was awarded theWilliam Thuring Prize.
