Do you love art and have a BA/MA in marketing? Market Art Fair, the most renowned contemporary art fair of the Nordic region, is looking for a motivated and organised Marketing Assistant. Your main tasks will be to assist Market’s director in both the strategic and operative aspects of marketing and to build relations with and coordinate events for our partners.

You will be working in a small team where you will gain insights in the different aspects and dynamics of working in the art field as well organising an international art fair.

Since 2006, Market Art Fair has been a trusted market and meeting place in the heart of the Nordic art industry, bringing together most prominent galleries, artists and collectors of the Nordic region and beyond. In 2018 we will return to the beautiful and newly renovated premises of Liljevalchs Konsthall on Kungliga Djurgården in Stockholm, Sweden.

The position is a 60-80% part time employment on a fixed-term contract starting January 2 (or earlier) to April 30. 2018.

Assist Market’s Director in marketing related issues on both a strategic and operative level, including:
• partner relations
• business and communication plans
• presentations and proposals
• PR material
• social media campaigns
• and more…

Depending on the size and complexity of events, either assist in or manage the budgeting, planning and execution; including tasks such as:
• setting and tracking goals and objectives
• meeting with clients to determine event details
• designing and handling newsletter campaigns/invitations, guest lists and RSVP
• researching and booking venues, catering, technology, wait staff, artists/speakers, etc
• hands-on tasks on site; including hosting, problem-solving and securing visual documentation
• following up with partners and guests

Assist Market’s Director and Fair Manager in administrative tasks, including keeping the minutes at meetings as well as securing to-do lists and follow ups



• BA/MA in marketing, business and economics or equivalent
• +1 year work experience in related area
• Writing and speaking English and Swedish CEFR B2 or above
• Proficient in digital tools in general
• Excellent people and organizational skills



• Experience working with sponsors and partnerships
• Intermediate skills in Google Sheets & Presentations, Mailchimp, WordPress, Google
• Presentations and Adobe CC
• Driver’s licence
